The filename of this image, which was posted a while ago to a Ravelry group that I can’t remember the name of, is “dmcseriesv_model6a.” Some googling turned up the D.M.C. Library series, which covers all sorts of thread work from embroidery to tatting to crochet and others, most of which were published in the early […]
It’s always amused me the amount of spam I get that says something along the lines of “i love ur theme/design/scheme/colors, where can i get it/r u sellin it?” If I had a custom theme I might be flattered, but I know they’re spam because a) it’s not really that awe-inspiring of a theme, and […]
So I’ve been packing stuff up so we can move. Don’t have the new house yet, and it’s always possible that this one could fall through like the last one did, but I chose to do it in the expectation that we will be leaving to somewhere. Tip: Many recycling centers don’t take wrapping paper. […]

Behold, a baguette bag! Or maybe quiver, I’m not sure which. You can wear it over the shoulder or across […]
It needs a Zig Bag to go with it, but I’m not sure what that would look like. Maybe the same pattern, going the other way. 4mm hook, black cotton yarn. If you look really closely you can see that I used two different colors of black, but I don’t care. It’s just a grocery […]
One skein of Knit Picks Bare Worsted, made on a Knifty Knitter Spool Loom, comes out to be over 30 feet of tube. That’s a lot of yarnsnake. The yarn snake returns, with a friend. These two are going to have a very long and close relationship.
